To get help on a command, type it followed by "/?", and you'll get a response like the following example.

As you can see, the "MD", or "MKDIR", command will create a directory, like pressing "New Folder" in Windows.

With that in mind, open your own MS-DOS Prompt and try out the following commands: "RD", "TIME", "DATE", and "VER". You can open the Prompt several ways, such as getting it out of the start menu, typing "Command" at the "Run" box, or finding "command.com" in your system folders.
